Red Bull Air Race

Intelligent Home had the honour to entertain 150 children and their parents at the recent Red Bull Air Race here in sunny Perth.

The function was held at the Boat Shed Restaurant on the beautiful South Perth foreshore overlooking the SwanRiver with the Perth skyline as a backdrop.

Graham Millar, the owner of the boat shed, had kindly loaned us space in his restaurant to display the awesome new D Box product. This is basically an interactive chair simulator connected by data cable to a high speed computer processor, which provides motion to a flight chair you are sitting on, simulating the motion you are watching on the screen in front of you!

We were fortunate enough to have special software written for us by D Box which showed the graphics and course of the Red Bull Air Race complete with Perth landmarks and course obstacles. The simulator reacts to speed, banking and most of all the many crashes we all seemed to have!!

A fantastic concept and could truly be the 4th dimension to the home theatre experience!!!

As you can see from the PHOTO'S, the kids had an absolute blast and proved far better than all of the adults who tried to turn their hand at being sports pilots!!!

Huge thanks to The Starlight Foundation for giving us the opportunity to host some of these awesome kids.

Also special thanks to Jayson Mackey, Michael Bryant and Simon Brncic, Intelligent Home Staff, who were an absolute credit to the Company, entertaining these budding acrobatic pilots for the day!!

Many Thanks,

Sean
