Big Morning Tea at Intelligent Home
Australia's Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer Council
Intelligent Home was proud to be able to host it's first ever tea party by taking part in Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, an annual fundraising event run by the Cancer Council.
May is Morning Tea month for the Cancer Council and we felt we could do a great job in raising money to help those diagnosed and affected by cancer. It was also the perfect excuse to stop work for a couple of hours and indulge in some baked treats!
The Intelligent Home cooking talents were on display in full force with virtually no spare room left on the Alfresco tables. Paul Gordon, Branch Manager of Direct Alarm Supplies Balcatta, very kindly delivered 2 boxes of baked goods on the day and Peter from Lust Coffee also supplied his usual fantastic coffee and donated part proceeds to the event.
A total of $463 in donations was raised and Intelligent Home upheld its end of the bargain by doubling this amount and donating it to the Cancer Council, well exceeding our target goal for this very worthy cause.
